Ms. Katie

Katie Hunt has an Associate’s Degree in Art from Northland Pioneer College. Her musical strengths come from the classical era both with vocal and piano. She has studied Opera and can teach in three different languages, French, Italian, and German. She was in several musical productions during her time there including 9 to 5 and The Drowsy Chaperone. She was also 2nd chair in her regional choral competition in 2010. She also took 5th chair when she made All-State in 2012.

Miss Katie has taught students musically consistently for the last 5 years. During this time, she worked as an elementary music teacher for Desert Sunset Elementary where she helped implement new quarterly musical performances with fun themes that kids enjoyed.

Miss Katie has also been playing the piano since she was 8 years old. She has played for churches and choral groups all of her adult life and has trained under some of the most brilliant teachers in the White Mountains of Arizona.
