Mr. Samuel
Samuel found in music a powerful means of self-expression, and his love for it only deepened over time. From Classical to Pop, Acapella to Jazz, Rock to Broadway, Samuel embraces and interprets a variety of musical genres with enthusiasm and skill. With the help of his teachers and his own dedication, he earned the title of 1st Chair Tenor multiple times in different vocal categories through statewide competitions.
Not just limited to vocals, Samuel’s versatility extended to instrumental performance as well. He also showcased his talent on the French Horn and trumpet, earning accolades in state competitions as well as an advanced pianist. Samuel studied at Arizona State University majoring in Russian. During his college years he sought out a musical outlet to and ended up not only performing with but alsodirecting the university's premier men's acapella group, Priority Male, arranging the music that the group performed throughout the year. Presently, Samuel continues to share his passion for music in various ways. He is a proud member of the Phoenix Gay Men's Chorus as a Tenor and also showcases his instrumental talent with the Desert Overture Wind Ensemble on French Horn.
His theatrical inclinations have led him to grace the stage in several musicals, including Pirates of Penzance, West Side Story, Camelot, and Sound of Music. Beyond his love for teaching voice, piano, trumpet and French Horn, he indulges his passion for video games by freelancing as a composer, demonstrating his creativity across different mediums.
